Space Planning - Room Layouts & Extensions

Creating easy to understand floor plans and suggested room layouts showing the size of furniture that best fits the space. You might also want us to sketch out how a new extension might look or adding a new bathroom or changing the internal layout of the property (to make your home work better). Once we've drawn a new layout, we can move onto helping you furnish those rooms or add much-needed extras to your existing suite of furniture. Equally, if you then want to source your own furniture and accessories using the floor plans created, that’s fine too!

Creating A Whole-House Concept ‘Look’

We often get approached by Clients who have lots of great ideas and a great Pinterest Board, but who are desperate for a professional to help them pull it all together into a cohesive conceptual look and feel across the whole property. We start by reviewing your likes and dislikes and your own mood boards, which we then turn into a concept which works across the whole space. This is used as the base direction for sourcing furnishings and finishing touches and it also directs the core decorative palette including paint colours and wallpaper designs etc.

Sourcing Furnishings

Working with you to develop a look we love, setting a concept ‘direction’ and drawing up a personalised shopping list which works within your budget. And then sourcing a collection of amazing furniture, lighting and accessories for you, which look far more luxurious than they actually cost. You might only need a handful of wow items, and that’s ok!

Project Budgeting & Planning

Helping you scope out the potential cost of a refurbishment or simply helping estimating the cost of buying a collection of new furniture or having some small works done. We know how daunting it is when planning any kind of change to your home and one of the biggest worries is always the cost. So we can help do the maths and decide if it’s viable.

Paint Colour Consultancy

Choosing the right paint shades can be daunting with the huge array of options out there. We can help you draw together the perfect palette and decorative specification for your painter, including directions on the right finishes to use from emulsion to eggshell, interior and exterior applications. We can also guide on eco-friendly options, washable paints to combat little sticky fingers through to cost effective and easy to achieve textured paint finish..

Help Choosing Finishes & Fabrics

Helping you choose floor finishes, wall finishes and ceiling treatments. This might be helping you select a wood floor, lovely carpet or stair runner. We can also help track down the perfect wallpaper and upholstery fabrics for curtains and blinds. Or helping you select the perfect fabric colour or pattern for re-upholstering a favourite chair or sofa.

Help With Lighting

Great lighting can make or break a room design. Cozy, layers of light will relax you and your guests and highlight beautiful elements to show them off at their best. We can help guide on what types of decorative and task lighting you need and how to achieve a warm and inviting look which works through day and night to create different moods. As well as sourcing light fittings for you, we can also work up a lighting plan and specification for your electrician.
